Save Lives. Support Komen.
Our mission is to save lives and end breast cancer forever. But we can’t do it alone. Every single donation helps to ensure all Los Angelenos in need will receive access to quality healthcare. By donating to Susan G. Komen® Los Angeles County, you help make a difference in our community. Your donation to Susan G. Komen LA County turns into a meal, a free mammogram, a reliable ride to and from treatments, breast health education and awareness, financial assistance and more – but most importantly, lives saved.
Give a gift that makes an impact. Susan G. Komen® Los Angeles County welcomes our supporters to make an impactful gift that contributes to our mission to ensure that all women and men, despite geographic, cultural and financial barriers have access to quality breast health services and support. You can donate online or mail in your completed donation form.
Your monthly contribution helps sustain our efforts to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Breast Cancer knows no boundaries and is the most common cancer among women in California, regardless of race or ethnicity, which is why your monthly gift means so much!
MAKE AN IMPACT
Celebrate or remember a loved one by making a tribute gift in their honor. When you give a gift in honor or memory, Susan G. Komen® LA County will send a tribute card to the chosen recipient letting them know of your thoughtful donation.
Leave a legacy that will change the world! Breast cancer knows no boundaries and every woman is vulnerable. By leaving an estate gift in your will, trust or through gifts of stock, you are ensuring that Susan G. Komen® LA County can continue its work to help save lives and end breast cancer forever.
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to Susan G. Komen®. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.
If you have questions about naming Susan G. Komen LA County in your will, estate or through gifts of stock, please call us at 310-575-3011 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
